ATLAS uses its own concepts, but publishes evidence-bound mappings to common technology terms. These mappings aid discovery; they do not claim that ATLAS is identical to ERP, CRM, middleware or other product classes.

ATLAS uses precise terms for boundaries that common product language often mixes together.

Blueprint, Candidate, Qualification, Evidence and Authority are defined publicly for machines and humans. Standard vocabulary helps discovery, but does not replace ATLAS meaning.
